• Ladies Night 2011

  Pauline and I would like to pass our very great thanks on to everyone who attended the 2011 Ladies' Night - we hope you all had a good time, a dance and left replete.

  Thank you all for buying so many Raffle Tickets – with your purchases we managed to raise a magnificent sum of £454!

  We would like to pass on our grateful thanks to all those who have helped, and to all those who's generous donations made the raffle so appealing to ticket purchasers, including (in no particular order) W. Bro. Tom Gaskin for the polished and professional way he conducted the evening, Bro. Scott Dawkins for spending all the morning helping us set up, to W. Bro. Ray Goble for singing the Ladies Song so beautifully, to Bro. Fred Pond for a magnificent toast to the Ladies, to Rob Luckins - the Photographer for staying on all night, to "Moonlighting" the Band, who took the time and trouble to learn 'our song' for the first dance, then playing some fantastic music all night.

  Finally - on a personal note, I would like to thank my lovely Lady, who worked so hard in the run up to the evening, and shone like the stars all night. TMD as we say to each other.
